An important note for Retrospect for Macintosh users:
Retrospect Clients 4.3 for Macintosh and Retrospect Clients 5.1 for Windows require Retrospect 4.2 or later.
If you are using Retrospect 4.1 for Macintosh, a free updater is available on the Dantz web site at www.dantz.com.
If you are using Retrospect 4.0 or earlier, you must purchase an upgrade to Retrospect 4.3 by contacting Dantz customer service at 800-225-4880 (United States) or your local distributor (worldwide) or visit the Dantz web site at www.dantz.com.
Previous versions of Retrospect required separate clients for Macintosh and Windows. These new clients work with either platform in whatever combination you choose.
Retrospect 4.2 or 4.3 with Retrospect Clients 4.2 or 4.3 for Macintosh and Retrospect Clients 5.0 or 5.1 for Windows will allow you to use older activator codes as cross platform client license codes.
Retrospect 4.3 also includes other new features including advanced networking to back up computers across routers and HTML-based help.
